White Wine TXAKOLI XARMANT , Basque white wine with? Arabako Txakolina? guarantee of origin. Txakoli or Txakolina, is a slightly sparkling white wine produced in the Basque Country. Txakolina is normally produced from the local grape Hondarribi Zuri and traditionally fermented in foudres (very old, large oak barrels) but most txakolina produced today is fermented in stainless steel. Txakolina wines are high in acidity, low in alcohol and usually served in a tumbler, with tapas. The perfect wine for Seafood.
